Cancellations

Once you place an order at GoModernUSA.com, we check to see that the product is available to the specifications you require, and that all of your shipping information is verified. This process takes us approximately 48 hours. Your order is then forwarded to our warehouse and cannot be cancelled after those 48 hours.
We try to make your purchase as pleasurable and easy as possible. That’s why GoModernUSA.com offers a 5 day Limited Return Policy (see details below) starting on the day when the merchandise is received by a customer, so buy with confidence! You may return an item, excluding any shipping and handling charges, within a period of 5 days according to the following guidelines:
Return Policy

Merchandise Purchased in one of our Retail Showrooms

Any defects or damages must be indicated on the delivery receipt in order to obtain an exchange of your product.
By signing your order acceptance upon delivery, indicates that you inspected the merchandise and are satisfied with the condition of the merchandise. No refunds or exchanges are issued once an order has been accepted.

Online Purchases

  • Refunds, exchanges and returns may only be made within 5 days of receipt of the product. The merchandise must be returned in its original mint (brand new) condition and original packaging.
  • Please notify us by clicking on the Return Merchandise Tab. Complete the form and submit it; upon receipt of your form, we will issue the RMA.
  • Wrap the pieces in the original packing they arrived in. All returns must be in their original and new condition.
  • Call us at 1 855-446-6633 to let us know when your package is ready to be picked up. We will make arrangements to send your merchandise back to us by a carrier of our choosing. Refusal by you to accept our carrier will result in you becoming liable for any and all damages that may incur during transit or shipping, and we reserve the right to deduct any repair or replacement charges from your refund.
  • As soon as your items are received back by us, we will inspect the product for its condition, original packaging and completeness, and we will issue your refund. We will issue the credit to the original card that was used to purchase, less the shipping charges.
  • In the event that a purchase was made with a free shipping offer, our actual shipping costs to you will still be deducted from the refund. In other words, free shipping is a one-way offer.
  • Please note that the original shipping charge will be deducted from your refund.
  • You are also responsible for shipping charges on returns.
  • In the event that an order is canceled but has not shipped, no shipping charges will be due.
  • RMA numbers are valid 7 days and the product must reach our warehouse before then. A delay will result in complete forfeiture of your credit. Products sent back without valid RMA numbers will not be accepted.
  • Any merchandise returned to us unauthorized or without the RMA will be REFUSED.
  • All supplied manufacture accessories must be included in original factory packaging when returning the item. Failure to return all or any supplied accessories will result in complete forfeiture of your credit.
  • In the event any of these conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse the return and any applicable refunds.
  • Please allow 5 to 7 business days to process your refund.

Damaged Merchandise Policy

GoModernUSA.com takes all measures to prevent any damages. Our excellent packaging and shipping experience reduces the chances of damage. However, if damages do occur please adhere to the following procedures.
If there is a problem due to shipping damage, we will do our best to repair the merchandise. If it cannot be repaired, we will send a replacement free of charge to you, if available. All damages must be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt of the merchandise. To qualify for an exchange, you must follow our guidelines.

  • Inspect the packaging and the package contents for any shipping damage. A bill of lading will be signed by the customer to acknowledge receipt of all merchandise in good condition.
  • Claiming damages may only be made within 24 hours of receipt of the product.
  • If the carton shows evidence of severe damage, please refuse the shipment from the freight company and note the damages on the Bill of Lading. Please contact us at 954.892.6868 within 24 hours. We will make arrangements to replace your merchandise as quickly as possible. If we are unable to replace your order within seven (7) business days, you have the option of canceling your order for a full refund.
  • We will accept claims for furniture with hidden damage with proof of damage (pictures as well as a clear description depicting the damage of the product) within 24 hours of the receiving date. We will not accept any claims on white glove deliveries after the original delivery as the merchandise must be inspected upon delivery, when utilizing this service.
  • Contact us within the specified 24 hours by completing the Return Merchandise Tab. We will process the claim and issue a RMA.
  • Once the RMA is issued, we will advise you that you may return the merchandise to us. You must make the merchandise available to be returned to GoModernUSA.com within five (5) calendar days of the issuance of the RMA.
    Wrap the pieces in the original packing they arrived in. All returns must be in their original packaging.
  • Once we receive the merchandise back, we will immediately send you the exact replacement product. If a replacement is not available we will refund you the entire purchase price to the original payment method chosen by you.
  • In the event any of these conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse the return and any applicable refunds. We will not accept any claims after 24 hours of receipt of merchandise.
    Manufacturers Defects Policy.
    Although very rare, unfortunately defects can occur during the manufacturing processes. These are usually minor issues that bypass the visual quality control process. If you believe that your product has a manufactures defect, please adhere to the following guidelines.
  • Notify us via email to info@gomodernusa.com and report the manufacturers defect within 48 hours of receipt of the merchandise.
  • To help us resolve the situation we will ask you to e-mail photographs of the defects, and we will ask you to clearly describe the defect to us.
  • We will report the manufacturer’s defect directly to the manufacturer, and in most cases, we will try to repair the defect. If we are unable to do so, we will either replace the merchandise or ask you to return it, in which case we will issue a full refund.
  • Please note that the method of correction will be at the discretion of GoModernUSA.com management and will be assessed on a case by case basis.Cases not Subject for Return and/or Refund
  • Return or order cancellation of special order items will be charged up to 50% to 65% restocking fee. The amount is determined by the manufacturer/supplier of the product.
  • GoModernUSA.com is not responsible for the repair or exchange due to consumer abuse.
  • Clearance items, discontinued items, final sale items, or “as is” items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • GoModernUSA.com reserves the right to modify its exchange and return policies at any time.
